Our Antimicrobial boxes incorporate the use of BioCote technology.  This technology uses silver ion additives that have been proven effective against a wide range of bacteria, mould and viruses, including superbugs LIKE MRSA and Ecoli and viruses such as H1N1 influenza.

The silver ion additives have been proven to eliminate up to 80% of both MRSA and Ecoli after 15 minutes, and up to 99.95% of the mentioned bacteria after 2 hours and 99.995 after 24hrs.

The additive has been proven not to leach from or wash out after cleaning with commonly used disinfectants.  

BioCote is compliant to US and European regulations.

CORONAVIRUS - We currently do not have any data to prove that the BioCote technology has the same effects on Coronaviruses.

How do we measure our boxes?

We work on a general rule of internal = minimum and external = maximum. We measure our boxes ourselves. We measure them as accurately as we can, but they are an approximation, and are there only to act as a guide. Boxes are generally moulded to stack and nest and most will taper towards the bottom of the box.

The internal measurements are the minimum measurements from the bottom of the box, and not always a true reflection of the box volume. We measure them this way so you can see if your item is going to fit in the box.

The external measurements are the maximum measurements of the box, so you can see if the box will fit in a particular space. If you are storing a particular item, we would strongly recommend that you contact us first so we can assist you in making the right choice.
